Did someone say sample sale?

I'm loving the warmer weather because:

a) you can wear shoes that require no effort
b) loose clothing is your friend when you're a sweaty betty
c) you can wear sunglasses to cover your sleep deprived eyes
d) everyone is in a better mood
e) there is no judgement if you are seen eating ice cream at any hour of the day

I have had a busy couple of days catching up with friends, attending a 'do' and mum visiting and it has given me the opportunity to snap up some serious bargains!

I went to town and bought the following two vests from Primark for £3 each, maternity vests are quite expensive in my opinion, so buying these vests (which I have bought 3 sizes bigger than my pre pregnancy size) was much more cost effective and the material is lovely and soft.

I also picked up these sandals from H&M for £7.99, I have them in gold from last year and I wore them all the time so couldn't resist picking up a fresh pair - perfect for slipping your pregnant feet in to rather than fussing around with straps:

The jeans that you can just about see in the above 2 pics are the H&M ones I mentioned in my previous blog, in the end I ordered my pre pregnancy size and one size up online and both were two small, so I have bought 2 sizes bigger than I normally would, letting you all know in case you end up ordering online.

Lastly it was the brilliant Danish pop up sample sale again this weekend and I picked up two scarves and a lovely yellow t-shirt - all £5 each! The material on all three is really soft and scarves brighten up any outfit and fit you at any size :)

The pop up was in Roath again this weekend but is also trialling in Penarth so worth a look if you live over that way.

You may have noticed my preoccupation with soft materials recently, having looked at baby clothes for weeks, which are all delightfully soft and fluffy I now want to wear the same myself! No scratchy materials for me!

I've also mentioned being constantly boiling, I have sworn by Sanex mens deodorant for the last few years but it's not cutting it with my hormones in overdrive, I've tried the ladies mitchum but that was rubbish so if anyone has any tips for super effective deodorant please do let me know!!!

It looks like the hot weather might be here to stay and I have some lovely maternity dresses ready to go so fingers crossed they will get an outing soon.

Lastly, many of you have mentioned the blog to me this week and I am very touched that so many of you are reading it and have given me such lovely feedback! Thanks!
