What was on offer in Bristol

A couple of weekends ago I hit Bristol to see if I could find any maternity gems in the sales, as a lot of the clothes I have ordered online have had to be sent straight back, either not fitting or too uncomfortable.

 I tweeted before shopping to see if anyone had any recommendations but without much success, the only stores that had maternity wear actually in the shop were Topshop and H&M.

 My mum bought me this cool t-shirt in the H&M sale for £10 and I have already worn it a few times, really comfy and definitely my style.




The best finds were in Pull & Bear as they had a huge sale on, and a lot of items were only £5.99 or £7.99! I bought the following two tops / tunics which I hope should fit for quite a while and will still be worn in the Summer once the baby has arrived. Both of the below were £7.99 each.



The last items I bought were some Primark maternity leggings for £5 which are really comfy and two pairs of sunglasses, which were £1 and £2 respectively (full price). I never spend very much on sunglasses as I have a habit of breaking / losing / sitting on them so would be too risky!




The great thing about the sunglasses is that they will go with any outfit and fit no matter how big me and the bump get! 

 I will be heading to Devon shortly to see my folks so will see if Exeter has any bargains, any recommendations for places to try please let me know!

Holidays with a toddler and how IKOS resorts saved the day!

We've now been back from Greece for just over a week and I am still pining for IKOS Oceania ! This post is going to have a little about holidaying with a toddler, a little about IKOS resorts and a little about my holiday outfits, hopefully some or all of that will be of interest! Last picks of the January Sales

Having spent much of the last week awake, whilst our darling 17 month old is going through a sleep regression of mammoth proportions, I decided to make myself useful and see if there are any last minute bargains in the sales that we should all keep an eye on.  I've looked both for workwear and for summer wear, as if you have a holiday booked I would recommend that you pick up a few things now whilst they are cheap rather than paying full price the week of your holiday.  You all know that I am quite tight and don't like paying full price for anything and so sales time is my happy time, I have to say that I haven't had a huge amount of success this time around but that is probably a good thing as it is saying me some cash!  These are all high street and all available online in a variety of sizes as of today (9/1/18) ASOS  Red culottes - £10  I bought these and I love them!
